Our first event of the year is Thursday, April 21th. Join us at the Glenevis Hall at 6:00pm for a light supper. The Annual Meeting at 7:00pm includes an overview of the 2015 season and a look toward our plans for 2016.

This year’s guest speaker Denise O’Reilly farms near Cherhill.  Her seed company A’Bunadh Seeds specializes in short season open-pollinated and heritage seeds. At 7:45pm learn from Denise about heritage vegetable varieties and how home gardeners can grow and save their own seed.

Throughout the evening there is an opportunity to buy or renew a Garden membership and to find out about the varied volunteer opportunities at Pegg. Denise will have a selection of seeds and garlic for sale.  If you’d like to try some of her interesting potatoes visit A’Bunadh’s website and order them in advance.

Denise is launching a vegetable seed saving cooperative program and Pegg Garden is participating this summer.  Come out to hear about the project.
