We are a group of people who are interested in learning and sharing fiber related arts such as weaving, spinning, felting, and dyeing. Cherhill 4-H

Members of the Cherhill Club are excited to show off some of their interesting projects. Our program includes quilting, foods, feathered friends, pheasants, trapping, vet-science, small engines, beef, sheep, and photography. In Alberta the 4-H program has been around since 1917. Through 4-H rural and urban youth from 9-21 years old learn life-long skills such as cooperation, leadership, interpersonal relations, critical thinking, decision making, organization, public speaking, and community spirit. 

Emily Fyfe

Emily Fyfe is a multimedia artist and illustrator based in central Alberta, Canada. Her practice investigates rural lifestyles and the natural world. She enjoys capturing the beauty of farms, small towns, and forests, while telling the stories of those who live in them. She is interested in adapting narratives for younger audiences through picture book illustration. Emily graduated with distinction from Alberta University of the Arts’ Visual Communications Design program in May 2023. Her work has been featured at Leighton Art Centre in Millarville, Alberta. Emily is also a three-time Top 30 Artist in the Youth Calgary Stampede Poster Competition. Five Sister Craft

We are five sisters who, over time, have worked in various ways with precious creatures .

Hill & DALE FARM

A family farm within Lac Ste Anne county for over 100 years, they raise naturally finished beef, market garden produce and a strawberry UPick, chemical free. They also grow and make available heirloom garden seeds of all types for home gardeners and large growers alike, specially suited to growing conditions in Alberta. Denise creates all kinds of food products from the garden produce and creams, salves and herbal tinctures as well as mushroom medicinal tinctures. Little Blue Acre

Ashley Radford. Little Blue Acre was born from our family’s dream to live off our land as best we can when we moved to our little plot 3 years ago. Since 2021 we have been learning and growing in our knowledge and are so excited to now be able to offer homemade goods from our Little Blue Acre. Our speciality this year is a variety of Freeze Dried Candies and goods. We look forward to growing our little business in the coming years to provide more products. Rio Better Beans

Hand roasted roasted gourmet coffee blends. Coffee beans are not possible to grow in Alberta, but it is possible to put a special, local, twist on a perfectly roasted cup of coffee. We also offer Tallow products such as whipped tallow balm, lip balm, salve and soaps, made with good Alberta beef. Another product close to my heart, is our very special jewellery worn for pain relief. This ancient medicine is made from beads, which we create ourselves, from locally harvested Hazel wood. At 3PP Equine Assisted Learning, we facilitate partnerships between people and horses to teach cooperative, non-predatory methods of empowerment, emotional resilience, social intelligence, and genuine community building. Equine Assisted Learning is an experiential program proven to help improve skills such as communication, self-confidence, teamwork, leadership and more. wild violet acres

At Wild Violet Acres farm boutique store you will find good quality, local, organic and fresh products, craft, gifts and more. We grow our own heritage Park Wheat that we bake fresh bread from every week. Soon we will harvest our purple, pink and other potatoes and we grow a variety of vegetables and flowers. Also, we like to work together with other local farmers and support them by selling their high quality products.

Recently, we teamed up with Parthena. The owner Rosie Lefler, who comes from Calgary inherited a piece of land in Greece and started an olive orchard and she makes the most amazing delicious and healthy olive oils, 10 year old balsamic vinegars and more. During this event you can sample some of these products with our own made bread.

Further, we have some honey bees on our farm, but we get larger quantities of honey from Miedema Honey, handmade soap bars and craft products of local artist like beeswax candles, earrings and leather work.
