This workshop will give you the hands-on knowledge to grow mushrooms in your backyard or garden with confidence. Participants will learn how to build outdoor mushroom beds (Wine Cap mushroom) and log stacks (Oyster mushroom). During the workshop we’ll establish several beds and set up log stacks so visitors can see how they develop throughout the summer.

Our instructor Jamie Ohler is an avid mushroom enthusiast, especially regarding their use in permaculture and regenerative agricultural practices. He lives near Sangudo, AB.
